My new adventure

So this is what I'm up to in my spare time.  The below pictures are of a few of the items that are on my Etsy shop site and more will be added as I add to my posts.

I've posted one of my items here, some are not in my Etsy shop right now but you'll get the gist of what I'm doing.

The above is one of the Santa's that I make, each face is handfelted as is the body so no two are alike.

This little guy is The Keeper of the Garden, he stands 13" tall and is just a wonderful caretaker along with his friend Orange Bird that sits on his hat and watches out for danger in the garden.

The above is one of my felted wool pictures, this one is of a lake in Michigan at sunset.

So now you've seen samples of my finished work, I also do hats, purses and lanterns, little bowls and scarves.  Again many things will be added to the Etsy shop in the fall.

I'm a multi media artist and new to blogging, I have found myself in a bit of a tizzy as I've accepted an offer to do an art festival of which I have never done before.  The gal that contacted me had seen my needlefelted items in my Etsy shop and like them.  She thought they would sell well at the festival so I said "sure, I'll do it"....not realizing that I don't have much in the way of woolen items made.  Before summer started I was concentrating on my fairie spirit dolls, and driftwood wall decor...so now I'm off and running with the sheep, so to speak, at least I'm needlefelting their wool..
